The Committed Pig

Solid, upscale diner in downtown Summit. Came here with my family after dropping family off at EWR. We originally wanted to go to the Summit Diner, but they aren't open at night. I had been to the Pig in Morristown several years ago, so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, especially around the holidays. The food is a bit better than what you would normally get at a diner. My wife said the wings were some of the best she'd ever had.

Very nice location. They brought the incorrect fry type, but quickly corrected the mistake. It was a beautiful day and we ate outside. Lovely experience. Very good cheeseburger and shoestring fries, but too many fries to eat.

We have been coming to the Committed Pig for many years. The place is friendly and spotless clean. They use the finest ingredients to craft the most delicious dishes. Whether it’s wings or an amazing burger, you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. God Bless America! God Bless Blue and Gold! What did we eat? Buffalo chicken grilled cheese—- excellent! Especially the bread yummm. Shrimp and grits- per my husband - pretty good, but a little weird with the ground pork. 2 kids meals- hamburger and chicken tenders- the kids ate them all up so they must have been good! Nice clean interior, we had a cozy booth. Large clean bathrooms- individual rooms with changing tables. Service was excellent. Glad we chose to eat here today.

Honestly a 5 star experience, the atmosphere of the place was amazing. Genuinely seemed like a lot of care went it to the asthetic choices of the store. One of the workers was wearing a notorious P.I.G. shirt which i found fun. The food was great, normally I expect to be waiting about 30 minutes for my food when I go out to eat. This place shocked me. I placed my appetizer and meal at the same time and about 5 to 10 minutes later, its on the table. Lightning fast service. If im ever back in town I will definitely return 10/10
