The Coffee Shop

Stopped by The Coffee Shop in Stanley, VA (drive-through) and had the bacon & cheese bagel with a large coffee—absolute home run. The staff was super friendly… like “do y'all all get training from Disney?” friendly. Fast, cheerful, and the kind of welcoming that makes your morning instantly better. The food/drink? That bagel was hot, melty, and bacon-y in a way that feels legally required to improve your mood. The coffee was smooth but strong, soooo friggin good—exactly what you want when you’re trying to become a functional human. Funny part: This place was a Tastee Freeze when I left in the early 90's… and let me just say, it has aged like a legend. Same location, totally different vibe/food—in the best way. If you want a great breakfast with great service, this place is it.

Very good coffee and fun latte flavors. There are even a bunch of sugar free flavors! I love going on Wednesdays for a sausage egg and cheese bagel. I will def. Keep going back.

Would not recommend. Its cute and I like the idea but both our coffees were awful, so watery and didn't taste like I was even drinking coffee at all. They were paying more attention to the whipped cream and "fun stuff" than the coffee itself.

We absolutely LOVED this coffee shop, we stopped here before horse back riding on our honeymoon and the workers/owners were so incredibly friendly and talkative and it was a great way to start our morning off right :) the latte we got was absolutely incredible and was super good! 12/10 would recommend stopping here!!

Unfortunately, this coffee stop missed the mark for me. I ordered an iced coffee with a splash of non-dairy milk (they had two good options), but I received an iced latte instead. It wasn’t what I asked for, and it didn’t taste good—mostly like milk, with barely any coffee flavor. Disappointing experience.
