Excellent food. I had the hamburger steak. The portion size was solid and it was seasoned well. Definitely suggest getting a fried pie (peach). Judging by the signs they excel at breakfast.
Favorite is their catfish . Every time I have been food has been good with excellent service. Prices have been reasonable.
When we went at early lunch time (11:00 am) they were out of soup, special of the day, bbq, and some of the advertised vegetables, so I had to go somewhere else for lunch. Waitress was very polite and enjoyable.
It is what has disappeared from most small towns. People are friendly, food is really good, service is good, and they treat you like they have known you your entire life.
Great little downtown diner! The lunch special was inexpensive, with generous portions. My ground steak lunch special was delicious. Definitely a hidden gem (especially given the limited selections in this small town).
