For value, I would give it a 2.5. For taste, I would give 3.5 stars. Appearance, 1.5 stars. But, the smells coming from the restaurant-- 5/5!! This place actually reminds me a lot of Original Hamburger Works. Cash only. ATM on site. We got 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries, a root beer, and a fountain drink for $40. You put your own toppings on. No drink refills. It could use a little TLC (maybe remodel soon?) I like the cowboy cookout theme they have going on, just needs to be cleaned up a little.

Had some company in from the Midwest and came to the Chuckbox after doing a campus tour ar ASU. Burgers were fantastic! Grilled over mesquite that you can smell from a block away. Fries and onion wings came out hot and fresh! Condiment bar was well stocked. We'll be back!!

The fire wood grill is absolutely a wonder. The flavor of the burger is definitely enhanced by it. We got a few of the great big one burgers and they were very flavorful and you can choose what you put on your burger which is nice. The hotdog was okay nothing crazy but the burgers were for sure above average. I recommend it for sure.

My nail tech told me abt this place when I told her I was going to Tempe. OMG one of my top 5 burgers in life. The flavor from the wood is AMAZING. Burger isn't salty. It stays busy but the employees are efficient and have it down to a science. Mushrooms were amazing😋🤤 Going bk before I drive bk to Vegas. Make sure you have cash

Nice little place. People make it more than it is, but it's good. Minimal topping selection in the buffet..simply lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Of course condiments as well, but he basical 3. $50 for 4 burgers, 2 fry, and 1 drink. Plan accordingly, the line went out the door!
