The Chateau Restaurant Stoughton

Great spot and classic with a wide menu. Really enjoyed the staff and attentiveness. The family event today was so excellent. I found the food delicious and good portions. The salad was good but the entree was a hit. Great comfort food on a winter day. Very authentic taste in variable dishes. Loved the bread too that always a good opening move..

Interior needs a makeover and the food was good. Loved the broiled scallops, bread was cold, baked potato over cooked & hard and considering the lack of patrons, the service should have been faster. Yet, the waitress was attentive.

We ordered take out the piece of lasagna i ordered was the worst i ever had the top layer you couldn’t cut with a knife it was as hard as a brick i took a video so you could see this happened to me once before and when i called chateau they said bring it back but i didn’t want go all the way back so i threw it out assuming it was a fluke . But lo a nd behold here we are in the same situation . It is frigid out under 10 degrees so im not going back out im afraid i wont be ordering from you again it is with sadness that i say this as ive been eating at chateau since you opened years ago i have heard from others that your food is going downhill .im afraid you need to improve things as you’ll be outta business people aren’t going to put up with this. Weve been to this location of the Chateau many times,this was by far the most disappointing.Our server,Eddie,started out great but got an attitude when I pointed out that I did not get my side/appetizer salad 1st.He brought it out with my entree.I told him I wanted to eat my salad and to kerp my food warm while I did.After I finished it,he came by the table,took the plate snd said” So NOW you want your food?”There was a tone I did not appreciate.After that he was nowhere to be found.He did not ask if we were happy with our meals ,want a 2nd round of drinks or dessert.Just picked up the plates and dropped off the check.Terrible service.Not what we are used to.My wife’s Eggplant and Greek salad were very good as was my Baked stuffed Haddock.Unfortunately the Toasted Raviolis were undercooked

Great food, generally good service. The chicken parm and toasted ravioli are great!
