The Center Grill

We stopped in on a Monday night for a bite to eat and it was good! The service was excellent! Just love their small town places to eat! It was a little hard to find because it's inside a bowling alley and we were looking for just the restaurant so keep an eye out for it I included a picture of the sign outside!

Have been wanting to try this for quite a while. Was disappointed that the wait time for our food was going to be at least an hour+, but they did tell us that right away. The server was very kind and efficient, but did not come back to see how our food was, and didn't ask if we wanted dessert. The burgers my granddaughter and I ordered were still pink. I prefer mine to be well done, but I didn't specify that. Overall, the food was good but pricey and the portions were small.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. The menu is a surprise from what you would expect from a bowling alley. Borderline gourmet! I've been here twice and tried something different each time. Both meals were delicious. What's even cool is the chef/ cook comes out and speaks with you and checks that your food was good. Cannot say enough how much my friends and I love this place! And if you have room try one of their great desserts. We had a piece of cinnamon cheesecake. Wanted to lick off my plate good. We went at lunch. Not very crowded and served our meal in under 10 minutes.

Had the shrimp scampi with a hot chocolate and shot of irish cream. They were delicious. They have a nice bar with different drink varieties and you can even go bowling.

We were in town to cater a wedding and had an amazing time two nights in a row! Mary and Kevin did not disappoint in the kitchen! The food hit the spot and cooked to perfection. We went two nights in a row close to the end of food service due to our catering commitment and our servers, Hailey and Cole, took us in without complaint. Having been in the industry for many years, this is most server's pet peeve! On the second night we met Tyler, the Assistant GM, who introduced us to a new vodka. Dawn was churning out old fashioneds for us that were off the chain! The one featuring Shanky's Whip was my favorite. Sue was by definition, all the best parts of midwest hospitality and we can't forget our good buddy Landon. I highly recommend Center Grill!! You can even bowl if you want!
