The Carriage House Inn

We LOVED Carriage Inn. We’ve stayed in the main house before, but this time we stayed in the owner’s suite (the house to the right). The bed was so comfortable that I took the linens off to see the brand of padding they had on there. I had two small kids in pack n plays that did really well, but there is also a whole upstairs area for bigger kids to sleep separately. If you have a VAVA baby monitor, the signal reaches to the main house, so you can leave your kiddos sleeping safely and bring the monitor to the main house for fun with more family. We also love the private driveway and how secluded it feels back there. Our dog was able to run without a leash and we didn’t fear her getting to a main road easily whatsoever. Great little house! We will be back!

We hosted our wedding here and everything was picture perfect!! We are so thankful to the host for allowing us to use the space for an event. The carriage house is the best place to spend time & create memories! We love the trees, the lake view, and the charm within all of the houses on the properties! It will always be a special place for us and everyone should get the chance to spend time on this wonderful property!!

A very special "Thank You" to Vivian & Ernie for the most enjoyable relaxing weekend that my husband and I have ever had. We've been to other B&B's, but the Carriage House Inn in Harrison, Michigan is by far the most amazing B&B with the the best personal service. Vivian makes the best french toast & applesauce, but both Ernie and her were the most wonderful hosts. They both work very hard to keep this house feel like a home away from home. You can guarantee that both of us will be back to stay again in the very near future. If you're reading this review you won't regret in making a reservation to stay here.

The Carriage House Inn Bed and Breakfast was the perfect place to stay when I was in Harrison recently for a family reunion. The grounds and gardens are really lovely and the rooms are beautiful and homelike. Antiques are everywhere - in the common areas and the individual bedrooms. The innkeepers, Ernie and Sylvia, are relaxed and casual but very attentive. They served a spectacular breakfast on Sunday morning. Our family is looking into holding our reunion there next year, as they have the facilities to handle group events.

We had a wonderful time at The Carriage House Inn! The folks that run the Inn, Ernie and his lovely wife, are friendly, accommodating, and truly love the place. The breakfasts are fabulous, especially the homemade cinnamon role and cherry topping for toast and waffles. The gardens look like something out of a magazine and are a lovely place to sit over coffee. We will be staying here for sure each time we come to Harrison.
