A part of our team at Ourisman Lexus Of Rockville all went out to Capital Grill in Tysons corner for a group dinner! We were about 34 and we all had a blast at this wonderful facility! First of all, the party was huge! I first have to take into consideration all of the contributing factors that led to a pleasant evening! The lead waiter was Musa, whom at first I thought was a bit loud when he was speaking/addressing the group, but I later understood why he had to speak louder, we had the football game on and it was loud! He later adjusted himself to the larger group he had to service.😊 We had a four course meal beginning with appetizer: calamari, crab bites, seafood Tower etc! Delicious! Next were the salads and also placing our orders for the main course. Side orders of asparagus, cra
My wife really wanted to go here based on the great reviews. However, we did not have a pleasant experience. To start, there is no parking in front of the restaurant so you are forced to do valet which I am not a fan of. Our reservation was for 8pm but we were not seated until close to 8:30 so we weren’t off to a great start. When we were finally seated, to my surprise the tables were very close to one another. The tables were so close that my wife and I felt like we were going to hit the tables beside us because we were that close to them. The restaurant was very loud and we were so close to the tables beside us that we felt like we were pretty much in their conversations. The service was great, our server was great and very attentive, and our food came out very fast. The food however sev
I have to tell you about this restaurant; it's absolutely spectacular. The place is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere—family-friendly, casual, perfect for business dinners. You can take beautiful photos. The food is incredibly delicious; every dish is simply divine. The coffee is beyond words—exquisite, with an excellent, intense flavor. I enjoyed it immensely; this place was a truly wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and I highly recommend it.
Went without a reservation to celebrate my wife’s promotion with some good friends. Sat in the front bar area in a booth. Quickly seated even though they were busy. Quick water and bread and ordered drinks. Bread is amazing. Drinks took a bit but arrived and we ordered appetizers to share for dinner. Filet sliders, calamari, tuna tartar, and truffle fries. All yummy especially the sliders. Angela was our server and was great. We had told her we were celebrating a promotion when we arrived and she surprised us at the end with a dessert and some bubbly. Nice touch. Also the cocktails were yummy especially their signature drink. A little pricey but worth the occasion.
I visited The Capital Grille for dinner and ordered their Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad for an appetizer, their Filet Mignon with Wild Mushrooms for the main course and their Creme Brulee for dessert. The salad was delicious and didn't taste overwhelming with the goat cheese as an ingredient which was nice. The steak was cooked wonderfully however the mushrooms on the side didn't taste good in my opinion, they tasted off and I don't think it was due to the specific type of mushroom, so I didn't have a chance to enjoy them with my steak. The dessert was unfortunately disappointing as it really wasn't a true creme brulee; it wasn't prepared well as there wasn't a golden crust on top to break into, it was rather soft/soggy, so it was just plain soft custard all throughout at that point.
