Wow, what a cupcake! Popped in here real quick when I was in the area, and had one of the best cupcakes ever. A seasonal pumpkin spice one with a cream cheese center. The frosting was not too sweet and super creamy, and the cake itself was incredibly moist. I could really taste all of the pumpkin flavor too. Their cakes looked visually stunning (but very pricey), but it looked to me like they do cupcake versions of most of their cakes if you don’t want to buy a whole cake. I may consider getting a cake (or pie) here at some point now though! Fast and friendly service as well. Don’t get to Castle Rock often, but will definitely stop to try more cupcakes when I do in the future.

Cupcakes were awesome. That said: A. People typically don't like pushy salespeople. When asked the size of my order, I said I'd probably get two or three, the salesperson said "You should just get four to fill the box..." It wasn't cute or effective. It kind of put me off to the place. B. I ordered, among two others, a chocolate covered strawberry cupcake. I got home in Parker to see I was given a German chocolate cupcake instead. I did not look to check the order before I left, but as I was the only person in the shop, I kind of just expected to get my simple order. Let down that I didn't actually get my first choice for myself. My fiance loved the pumpkin spice. Also got the white chocolate raspberry. All were very pretty. Guess I'll eat the German Choc still, but wish I'd received what

We have used The Cake Co for large orders of pies and cupcakes for the last 2 years. Communication with them is a breeze, and the desserts are stunning and delicious. We are so thankful to work with them!

My favorite little shop to dip into in downtown Castle Rock is The Cake Company. I've tried nearly every cream pie and cheesecake, and they are incredible! Each friend I bring with me to stop in gets hooked - especially on the Chocolate Cream Pie and unexpectedly fabulous Whipped Pumpkin Cream Pie. And, their cupcakes? Gorgeous little treats that taste as good as they look on display. Their icing isn't too sweet like other cupcakeries - and the whip on the pies/cakes is really light so you aren't over sugared. Highly recommend for daily indulgence or special occasions. :-)

The design of the cake was absolutely gorgeous. The cake itself was super grotty though and kinda dry. The cake I bought was chocolate with vanilla filling. The filling was okay, it was kinda gritty too. There was also more filling than actual cake which was disappointing, I also which I was able to do a one layer cake as this wasn’t our main and didn’t really want 3 layers. I would rate them lower but they really did do a good job on the decoration.
