The Cafe on 26

This place is DELICIOUS!!! SO well-done. Any time I’m near Delaware, I come here. The service is great, nice atmosphere, beautiful outdoor patio, fancy wine room, & the food is exceptional. The potato parm salmon gets better every time. Highly recommend!

A group of us recently dined at Café on 26 in Ocean View, DE (just outside Bethany Beach) and we were treated to a great dining experience. The crabcakes were full of lump crab (no filler) the salmon was perfectly cooked, and the scallops were seared beautifully with great flavor. We finished with the Key Lime pie, smooth and tangy with just the right sweetness. Cozy vibe and friendly service—highly recommend.

A hidden gem in OV! The most beautiful and quaint atmosphere ( outside and in). The most friendly staff and owner. Hannah was our server, she was amazing! The Owner/chef Maria visited our table to check in on us, introduce herself and make sure everything was up to par. The Dirty martini was perfect as well. We had the mushroom tartlets to start, which was the perfect mixture of flavors that all came together beautifully. My entree was the potato parmigiana encrusted salmon -topped with fresh jumbo crab! It may have been one of the best dishes I have had to date. Thank you Cafe 26 for being so welcoming, kind and delicious! See you again soon:)

We ate in the wine room and it was lovely. The ambiance is a major selling point of this home turned restaurant - you won't feel out of place if you're dressed up a bit. The food was quite tasty. The dry rub on the beef and the parmigiana on the salmon were both delicious. We expected the strawberry and mousse dessert to be good, and it was great. Fine dining without the pretentiousness.

This place does not disappoint! Delicious food (mushroom tartlets, surf and turf, pork chop, cheese cake, and peach cake). Pinot from Oregon was outstanding! And the service was absolutely fabulous. Make sure you call for a reservation well in advance (we made ours 3 weeks in advance).
