The Butter Dish

Great place to dine in. Great food, atmosphere and service. Katie did a wonderful job. She's a great server. I highly recommend this place. Cozy and welcoming. We had breakfast and it was on point. We also bought pure honey that they sell in the waiting area. They offer other goods to buy as well, homemade sourdough bread, candles and cookies. I had a western omelet with sausage instead of ham, home fries, biscuit with a side of gravy. Well worth the money. I took my picture after a couple bites. My husband didn't give me a chance to take a picture because he started in as soon as he received his meal. Nothing wasted because it was so good.

If you have been thinking about stopping in, here’s your sign! The atmosphere in this restaurant fits the town of Pikeville so well. They went above and beyond with their tables and decor. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant all around. The quality of the food is above my standards. Try the onion rings for sure 🔥 my server Grace was an absolute sweetheart. Highly recommend this place!

We had the opportunity to have lunch at the Butter Dish restaurant recently. Over all it was a good experience. We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. Evidently everyone decided to visit at the same time. Our service was excellent. Very attentive, keeping our drinks filled. The food was good, the special was a BLT. One of the better BLTs that I’ve had at a restaurant. Portions were fair for the price paid. The only two negative points: one the restrooms were on opposite ends of the building. It so happened that the men’s was on the opposite end of the building from where we were sitting. Second, the noise level was really high. Overall I think we will return. Hopefully on a less crowded day or one that has more staff.

The food is amazing! Our server Olivia was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu options. Obviously the better of the two Olivia’s. lol. They were both awesome.

I have a new favorite restaurant! My husband and I just came for Sunday lunch and this place did NOT disappoint! We were promptly greeted by the friendly staff and immediately seated. The restaurant was immaculately clean. I had the most flavorful steak bites I've ever eaten, accompanied by fresh mashed potatoes and pencil thin asparagus that was cooked perfectly. Hubby had the country fried steak and onion rings (that I finished off!). The whole meal was what I would call a gourmet feast and the bill still came in under $40. My only regret was that I didn't come hungrier, because I had absolutely no room for dessert and they liked amazing too! There's even a produce/farmers market on site with cute baby goats and another place for ice cream. We will definitely return often! Highly recomm
