The Butcher's Bar & Grill

Visiting for the first time was a delightful experience. We arrived during a quiet time, allowing us to fully appreciate the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the place. The interior strikes a perfect balance between casual bar-style dining and elegant design, making it feel both relaxed and upscale. We opted for burgers from the menu, which, while a bit on the pricey side, offered exceptional quality and flavor that made it worth the splurge. Overall, I would rate our experience a solid 4.5 out of 5. We're definitely looking forward to returning when we have a bit more money to explore the rest of the menu!

From the moment we walked in, our first visit was an absolute delight. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful interior design, which perfectly balances casual and upscale elements, immediately put us at ease. Stopped in on a Tuesday night after a hike up Mt. Tammany for some food to recoup from the climb. I did a custom order of the penne Alfredo and went with fettuccine Alfredo, which was absolutely amazing. The restaurant was cozy inside, and the staff was extremely friendly. Had a great conversation with the host about all their locations throughout New Jersey and the atmosphere on the weekends. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend stopping by, but make sure you're hungry because the portions are generous! I'd highly recommend the signature Turkish desert. It was delicious! Needless to say, the next time I hike up this way, I will be stopping by again. The only downside is it's not closer to where I live. 😅

Stopped here on my way to Newark airport and this was the best part of my trip! Ambiance is perfect, not too pretentious but definitely a quality dining room. The chicken schnitzel and lamb chops were amazing, and our waiter Max went above and beyond by giving my sister his OWN chocolate bar when she wanted dessert but there was no gluten free option. Will definitely be recommending this place to anyone in the area.

I’ve been here a bunch of times now and every meal has been was great! Tonight was burger and fries night and again, a great meal. The fries are simply the best and I love French fries. Atmosphere, service and staff are wonderful. So glad to have this restaurant in the neighborhood!
