The Burrito Shop

It's a beach town, expectations were not high. Ordered pick up, minimal signage or energy inside the restaurant, seemed like a converted space. Burrito and two tacos were the same price, fine I guess. At $31 for a 4.5 inch burrito and two reasonably sized tacos, expecting flavors. Braised beef was delicious. Carnitas was lacking, but noticeably so because I didn't have 'add ons'. Comes with lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream - all of these blend together. A simple suggestion would be to simply add a small plastic container of hot sauce with every order. I figured it was in the bag but each bite ended a little dry and more rice filled than desired.

Located walking distance from the beach. This is mainly take out but some seating is offered. I opened the door and was questioned loudly if I had a cover up to put on. I was wearing a bathing suit top and a skirt. I returned wearing a tshirt, that's when I looked around for a sign posting their dress code. There is none. I am a rule follower so no problem there. I would have appreciated not being called out across the restaurant for not being covered. It was quite embarrassing. I wonder if the jogging bras/ tops are spoken to as well. ? The owner never said a word about it when I came back and spent 37.00 on lunch for 2. That will be my last trip there.

My friend recommended this place so I came with my family and I was not disappointed! Carlos is amazingggg, making sure our burritos are full even when he’s run out of things. He’s kind and helpful and the burritos are amazing! Will come again!

Great and fresh food! Owner was very nice! Got two meals out of it!

I stopped by for a quick lunch while in Maine, and it made me wish I lived closer. The food was amazing! I got half chicken half beef bowl with rice and beans, and the quality, taste and portion were all perfect. The staff was friendly and so was the owner. I would highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area.
