The Burger Temple

Paolo is very nice owner of Colombian restaurant , the food we had is authentic and very delicious especially sancocho soup was the best I had. We heard that burgers are very yummy so we will try next time. Thank you for your service .

What a fantastic spot! The people are really nice. Really big eating area. Decorations were really impressive to me. Can't wait to try a milkshake.

First, let me say this place used to be a bank and has a parking lot, which is pretty huge for a Weehawken spot. The large windows in colorful atmosphere, is very nice. The tables have a barcode to download the menu, however, the default language is Spanish and to convert to English takes a little doing. Once you get past that, the menu has an abundance of choices. We chose the empanadas and the chicharon ceviche, as an appetizer. The empananas, we're definitely our favorite. To wash them down, we had a coffee and a coconut lemonade. The lemonade had real coconut shavings, which was very delicious. For our main entree, we had the 5 star burger and the churrasco's steak. The bun on the burger was a little hard and the burger was cooked a little well for our liking, but had good flavor. The

We were travelling for 2 months and really craved a burger. We read the recommendations for this restaurant and it was walking distance from our accommodation. O.M.Gosh!!! The burgers were amazing!!! The service was fantastic. All the waiter's were so lovely. We loved it so much, we went back again a few days later. Also tried the hotdog. That was also unbelievable. Great job!! Its a bit of a trek to come from Australia, just for a hamburger but....maybe again one day soon.
