The Burger Stand -Santa Fe

Stepping inside and asking about the gluten-free options, we learned they were out of gluten-free burger buns but could do a burger with no bun. We asked about the fries. At first they told us that they are gluten-free, but when asked further found out that they were fried in a shared fryer with fried chicken and other glutenous fried food. We ordered the green chili cheese burger and the smoke burger with no buns and no fries. Both orders came out with fries. The burgers were delicious. We took Gluten Ease before our meals and didn’t feel sick afterward.

we got the classic burger. it was the most forgettable burger. the ingredients individually seemed like quality ingredients (good beef, fresh lettuce tomato onions pickles) but very poorly executed and also was a total grease bomb. each bite i took made grease gush down my fingers to my wrist and drip everywhere. also they sliced the tomatoes and onions so thick that the overall burger was so thick, i needed to unhinge my jaw just to bite into it. would not come back and would not recommend. not sure why it has the good ratings it does. the parmesan truffle fries were super mid too.

the food was good but for the price not worth it; Also they didn’t have drinks just water and beer. I found it to expensive for a burger place 100+ dollars for 3 burgers and plate of wings

The Burger was okay, the patties were a good size and tasty enough, not too salty. The bun could have been better toasted, it ended up getting soggy rather quickly. Nothing else to say about it. The tomatoes and lettuce seemed average. Tomatoes were a bit more limp than I'd like. My main gripe about this burger is that I asked for pickles. They served SWEET pickles. Who in their right mind puts sweet pickles on a burger? And even if you thought that was forgiveable, why wouldn't you alert the customer when it's ordered? My understanding is most people do not like sweet pickles. Because of the sweet pickles the flavor of the burger was all off. With the pickles removed I'd give the burger 2.5/5. If I had properly sour and salty pickles I'd give the burger 3/5. The fries could have been

Ummm. The good, the burger was large. I liked that part. The fries were good. Now, the bad. There weren't many fries, in my opinion. I like juicy good burgers, but this burger got soggy, mushy real fast, and it was just a mess and fell apart. It was pretty wet/soaked. Which was a no no for me. Could’ve been the bun being so soft/fluffy and couldn't hold the burger altogether. For the 18 bucks I dropped on it. It wasn't worth it. But the guy at the bar was friendly. Overall it was meh/okay. I was hungry and it wasn't too busy so I gave it a go.
