The Bucksnort

First of all...best service ever. Seriously the most kind and attentive staff ever. We ordered nachos, cheeseballs, and onion rings. We liked them all, but the cheeseballs weren't our fave. But everything was cooked perfectly. Our sodas were great. Traveling and wanted a few appetizers for the road. Not the best parking, but we found a spot behind the building by the bank. Not busy and were very attentive. We would stop again. The menu looked like it had lots of yummy choices.

Stopped by here on way from Sioux City to Omaha. Short 6 min drive off freeway w easy access. Scanned menu online and decided to give a try. Outside of building wasn’t ‘super inviting’ but they had a nice patio area off the street w sunshine so we went for it. Husband and I ordered Sweet Fritters and Fried Pickles for appetizers and both were great. Fritters are a creamed corn deep fried yum, our first experience!…I had grilled chicken honey sandwich - was Yummy and filling. Husband had pork Tenderloin Sandwich which was also very tasty. Not the ‘healthiest’ choices for menu items but we enjoyed all! Service was on point…which is rare these days, super friendly, helpful, and quick service. 8/4/2022 This is my third or fourth time here. This time I had the chicken salad 🥗 which was good. My one concern was that the soap dispenser in the restroom 🚻 was broken. Sure would have liked to be able to wash my hands. 4/29/2021 I had the hamburger and baked beans, of which both were very tasty. The prices were good as was the service. The place was clean and easy to find. I'd definitely go again.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, it was excellent! Homemade, hand breaded fried pickles, same with my crispy chicken sandwich. The brisket and burger were cooked to perfection! We never had to wait even a second for a refill, our server was at the table taking care of things before we even had a chance to ask. If you haven't been here and not sure whether you should go or not, GO!!! Fantastic experience.

We were searching for a local-ish diner and ran into this place - what a find! Super service and friendly patrons - even though we weren’t from the area. And then there’s the wacky menu and the amazing burgers. You won’t go away hungry!
