The Bread Shop

Incredibly good bread, but still just bread. 26$ for 2 loaves of olive bread and one ciabatta is definitely too much. If not for special occasions, I do not think I will use this shop very often for my regular weekly bread.

We came to try the cinnamon rolls and they're GREAT. They are nicely made and perfectly sweet & cinnamonyy, without being sickely sweet. A fitting drizzle of frosting on top complements the doughy part well, they are not inundated with frosting. This roll is also a perfect mix between the cinnamon 'roll' & 'bun', not too hard, not too soft-truer to the roll on the outside, then a softer bun style insde. To me they wonderful rolls, what I'm looking for when I get them and I will go back for more. We also got the cinnamon poptart. The poptart is a real treat too. Cinnamon & sugar filled, larger, flatter, rectangular turnover-ish style pastry. It is cooked to perfection. Not burned, doesn't have the taste of the pan or oil-but is a wonderful, thicker, doughy, yet delicate crust. Truly

I first found out about the bread shop from the Melrose Farmers market. Their new store front is great! The BEST sourdough around!! Check them out!

I alway enjoy my croissants 🥐 from The Bread shop. It always reminds me of when I was in Paris. But the last one I had, I am very disappointed… I could have gotten a better one from BJs. It didn’t look like they knew how to make a croissant and it was so burnt, hard, crispy and dry! I had to throw it away! What a shame

Yumm. Love how they keep adding to their selections! Their focaccia bread was amazing. Muffins are delicious! So happy they now have bakery pizza and I hope they bring more (but can you lower the price a little?) High quality, delicious food and love supporting our local bakeries! Keep adding more yummy things please 👏🏼
