The food here, every-single-course was amazing. It's my new favorite restaurant. The place itself is small and a bit quirky so if you're looking for high-end elegance this isn't the place. I personally loved the ambiance. Feels more authentic and part of the experience dining in an old renovated (what I guess was) a residential cottage. The main room I'm guessing was the living room/kitchen which is split in half to be a kitchen you can see them working in and maybe 5 tables. The second smaller room was either a bedroom or old front porch that was framed in. It's very small so you probably want reservations as I assume the limited seating fills up fast. Would highly recommend. The food was fantastic, the chef was friendly and it's obvious he takes pride in what he does.

Chef’s Dinner is out of this world! ***This spot just keeps getting better*** New favorite spot in Twain Harte. The food is phenomenal! Matt is a fantastic cook. Tried the entire menu because I can't stop going back. Everything is amazing. This is a must go to spot! They do tacos for specials sometimes! This place is amazing! This place just gets better and better. They now offer Chef tasting dinners. Everything I’ve tasted is amazing! This is a “I want 1 of everything on the menu” type restaurant!

Finally a total fine dining experience in Tuolumne County! Chef Matt and his team put together an amazing evening. The food, staff, and intimate style made it the perfect go to place for a date night!

This restaurant ruined my week in Twain Harte. My husband and I ate there first before any other restaurant. It was so fantastic-everything we ate was phenomenal from the salmon to the shrimp to the 3 desserts we couldn’t help but order just try them all. After that, anything from any other restaurant we ate at was meh at best even tho prices were almost the same. My compliments to the chef and his staff for an experience that will become a tradition we won’t overlook every year. (No photos because it was hard to snap photos when our eyes were rolled back in our heads.)

We had a fabulous chef inspired meal that was special and cooked to perfection with local flavor. Highly recommended!
