My Dad has talked about China House in TH forever but I’d never gotten to try it, I know they changed owners but I still wanted to check out. We got there at 6:30 there were several groups waiting ahead of us and only one woman running around doing everything. The 4 top in front of us she told them it would be an hour and a half wait for a table and they left. The phone and takeout orders dinged and rang the entire time we were there. We asked how long for a table and she said they had so many takeout orders it would be at least an hour. We agreed set a timer and came back, still swamped she let us sit down, we were the very last table and had the restaurant to ourselves. We got spring rolls, pork chow mein, and orange chicken. Love this place! I was especially excited that I could ask for gluten free, orange chicken, and they can make it! They can make a lot of their dishes Gluten, free. 💗 I would have put a picture of the food up but I ate it before I could take one.

great friends and got the family dinner options. We all got to choose our own entree, served on huge plates. The food was really delicious and there was plenty for the price. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Went for Valentine’s Date. Service was slow. Took it to go. It was freezing in the restaurant. Food was good when we got it home. I ordered a Chardonnay while we waited. It was a very small glass filled on 1/4 of the way. Will only order to go from here on out… maybe.

Welcome back, China House! Take out today was fast, and the service was friendly. The food is on par with the other Chinese food options around Sonora, but they stood out by having extra garlicky beef and broccoli, and extra gingery dumplings. The dining room was absolutely spotless, wide open and refreshed. Even the various houseplants looked healthy and robust, a sure sign these new owners are taking care of their details. We will be back.
