The Beacon Diner

My only reason for four stars was that it sure isn’t cheap; VERY expensive…but other than that I’d give it five stars! I grew up in White Plains but have lived in Texas for far too long and when I visited, I wanted a DINER. This is everything I wanted: Huge and extensive menu, AMAZING breakfast for lunch/dinner, great service. We were seated right away at a nice booth. My Breakfast Sampler was amazing; my friends had sandwiches and burgers, which looked great but I’m all about breakfast. I got extra bacon instead of ham, no problem! We were doing late lunch maybe 2:30 p.m…place was nice and quiet on this Friday. Loved it!!!

This is a Diner that we frequent. It has great food with generous portions at a reasonable price. The service is always excellent. The servers are professional and seem to want to be here. The place is organized and clean and has plenty of seating for larger parties. I highly recommend, especially for families!

This diner is one we frequent often. It's not the closest to us, but it's worth the trip. The food is always good and the service is exemplary. One of the things I like most is the fact that they DON'T use instant potatoes as many diners do. Update: They are still amazing. Servers Eric, Masen, and Victor are our favorites. They both know how to make a great chocolate shake. The place is always clean and we'll taken care of.

Disappointed by dinner. French onion soup was very salty and tasted out of a can. Nothing like others I've had as this is one of my favorite soups. The triple decker had a somewhat rancid taste. Definitely a letdown compared to the food that was served when I lived close by in NJ.

got the vegetarian wrap and the sweet potato fries and it was really yummy! critique: i'm german so these portion sizes are insane <3
