Metropolitan Cafe & Bagels… oh my goodness where do I even begin. If you love BAD FOOD DO NOT COME HERE. I drove all the way from Dumfries VA (6.5hr drive mind you) just for this place because it’s that good. You’ll never understand how blissful it is to bite into such a soft sweet succulent new Bergen bagel — it reminded me when my mother would hold me closely when I was a child, the warmth of the soft pillowy bagel and the egg & cheese sitting across my taste buds while the seeds from the everything bagel perform a symphony in my mouth akin to Mozart. Truly a divine experience, they probably had this at the last supper. And that coffee… my oh my… and I’m a snob, let me tell you. Disappointed. Both breakfast sandwiches were super bland, and the coffee cake must have been 3 weeks old. Just very very surprised based off the good reviews. Go somewhere else.

Such a beautiful place to be for fresh and lovely bagel. Has a wonderful friendly and family warm vibe. I was looking for a NYC style bagel near by and found this place. Loved it 🥰

Great food, great coffee and a very nice place to have a breakfast or brunch.

This is our favorite place in our town. We come here every morning for breakfast, on our way to work or school and they’re even open on Sundays. The staff is very personable and welcoming. Their food is phenomenal. It’s honestly the perfect place.
