The Barns at Timber Creek

What a haven! Kind owners. Great breakfast. So comfortable. Comfy beds and pillows. We loved the antiques throughout. Hardwood floors. We enjoyed the fire pit outside. Close to Winfield but a lovely rural feel. We will return. ❤️

There is so much character in this location. The historic stone building, the re-purposed wooden barn, the old quarry that is now a wedding chapel, the antiques and unique items as decor... We need to return to take it all in. The structures are very solidly built. Lots of space in the rooms. Great lofts if you have a family staying. Breakfast was delicious and the room comfy and clean. Thanks for sharing this space.

The Barns at Timber lake greatly exceeded our expectations. Our stay couldn’t have been better. The setting, our hosts, the breakfasts, the hospitality, the value for the price… all above and beyond terrific. Our family came to Kansas and Winfield for the 1st time to see where my dad grew up. Now I know why he always spoke so fondly of Winfield and the people. Martin and Cheryl made our stay exceptional. They waited up for our very late check in, asked us when we wanted our breakfast served and the coffee was ready followed by a hot, delicious meal. Every morning was a delight. We felt so welcome. We walked the grounds, toured the beautiful restored barn and even got to play fetch with a very willing and polite “Leo”. We hope we will be back again. Thanks for a perfect, relaxing stay. Jane

Was there for my nephew's wedding. I had planned to bring someone who is wheelchair bound and I discovered it might have been good she couldn't make it as this place is not very handicapped accessible. Aside from that it made a good venue.

Truly a hidden gem. I stayed here for a wedding, and hope to come back again. The hosts are so thoughtful and helped at every step of the day. Even when our bride's hairstylist was missing, they stepped in and tried to help find a new one. The venue itself is gorgeous and so peaceful. The breakfast was delicious too! An added bonus was Leo, the sweet farm dog who put on his best tie for us
