We were invited to stop into the tavern by a local musician and AirBnb owner. What we thought was an open mic night was a full on jam session of local guitarist, fiddlers, harmonica and wash board players. This is a complete GEM for the Tavern. Now about the food and service. We were greeted at the door, sat at a clean table and promptly greeted by a wonderful young man who was our server. He liked the foo fighters sticker on the back of my daughter's phone. The young man was attentive and friendly. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I would describe the food as "elevated pub-grub" as I chose the spicy chicken sandwich and maple bourbon cocktail off ofthe specials menu. My daughter got the loaded potato skins. The chicken had just the right blend of spices and I believe the
Nice place with great atmosphere. The food was fine. Drinks were great. A few issues but they wouldn't ruin your time there.
The Barn is such a great place to eat. Nice casual atmosphere. Im sure in the winter when they have the fire place burning wood will be amazing. The food was delicious, the chocolate martini was sooo good and the service was excellent. This is a hidden gem!
When walking up you would never guess the inside was so mesmerizing and welcoming. The view outside however is just as flawlessly breathtaking as the inside. The staff extremely accommodating last minute large groups and smiles on all faces. They were all nothing but polite, sweet and great with their service skills. This quaint little gem in a nook is worth the while if you get a chance to step in and dine with them. Such a beautiful restaurant. The food was equal to the views and amazing staff. Kudos to the chefs behinds the scenes too. Thank you for such a great dining experience.
We have been dying to try The Barn for years as we always pass it on our way home from Vermont. Well last night was my husband’s birthday and we had friends visiting so decided to go for an early dinner and a little leaf peeping on the way! Well I’m so glad we made the trip! I was surprised how crowded it was at 6:00, but realized it was a Sunday and others were also probably out for an early leaf peeping dinner! My friend and I both got the French onion soup. It was just what you’d expect, crunchy melted cheese over a crostini and a savory onion rich broth. The boys both got shrimp cocktail, 3 for one, 4 for the birthday boy! Three of us got the filet with demi glaze and baked potatoes which also came with a side of broccoli which was unexpected. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! My h
