The Barking Gull

Great concept; it appears that the owners have made an investment in a newly remodeled and reopened operation, but they have missed the mark. We sat on the large open deck for dinner and while we were among 3 other parties, it was conspicuous that the Whitewater place next door was overflowing with patrons. When we ordered our food, I knew to set my expectations LOW based on our server's response to my question about the burger I was ordering: "can it be cooked medium or med-rare?", to which she said, "not really, they are kinda thin and it's almost impossible to do that, sorry." She was, by the way, very friendly and sweet. I knew from experience with another local dive about these particular burgers. Just like that place, the Barking Gull's burgers are all made with double beef pattie

This place is fantastical!! Gull steamers, one word, amazing!! I'll pay for the extra garlic bread just for the sauce. Super friendly staff (Sarah is awesome) and chillax atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back!

The food was really good, hot and fresh. The Barking Gull burger was so good! Mi-Ti, was ok definitely have had better but the beer was cold. The service was a 3, just not impressed.

Nice setting, good service. Salt potato app was interesting. Wife loved the clams. Waiter talked up the pizza, but not very good. Overall - meh.

We had a small company party here. They made us a buffet and the food was great. Really impressed.
