The Baker House Bed & Breakfast

Our hosts, George and Sandra, were warm and welcoming. Their beautiful home is warm, inviting and immaculate. My husband and I enjoyed a quiet winter weekend in Rhinebeck and returned home refreshed and relaxed. We chose the Writers Room, which was oversized and very comfortable. Great books were available to read, and the way the room was set up, there was a coziness to the way the furniture was arranged in separate sections. Just lovely. The many windows let in a lot of light, and overlooked beautiful landscapes. George and Sandra provide an intimate experience - breakfast is served in the formal dining room, We had delicious brioche French toast on our first day, and perfectly cooked sunny side eggs the next. My wife and I stayed at The Baker House B&B this past October. We stayed in the Gardener's Room. The room was cozy and warm. We enjoyed the private entrance. George and Sandra Baker were simply the best hosts. George guided us to the best restaurants in town, and his recommendations were spot on. Sandra accommodated a special request and turned a special weekend into a magical weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, which was served as a sit-down meal with the other guests staying in the house. Each meal was expertly crafted and delicious. We noted they made special dishes for those with food allergies. The atmosphere at the Baker House is unique, as you arrive as a guest and leave feeling you are leaving family, friends, and a home.

A beautiful home! Our room was cozy and super clean. George and Sandra were gracious and friendly hosts. Breakfast was delicious! The B&B is an easy walk to the lovely downtown with lots to see and do. It was perfect for our anniversary weekend celebration.

Our stay at the Baker house bed-and-breakfast was wonderful! George and Sandra have created a gem of a space, conveniently located in Rhinebeck Village. Our room was very well appointed, decorated with interesting antique decor, spacious, and had an added bonus of an en suite bath and sitting area and a private patio flanked by a flower garden and with a private exterior entrance. Breakfast was absolutely amazing eclipsed only by interesting conversation with George about local history and nearby historic buildings and landmarks.

We really enjoyed our hosts George and Sandra. George made excellent suggestions for restaurants and sites in the area. Sandra made delicious baked goods and breakfasts. Coffee was great. The house is beautifully furnished. The location is fantastic, just a few blocks from the town center and has a lovely garden!
