Customer Reviews
We used the AWAKEN House as our wedding venue and were blown away by how helpful and flexible Lydia and the staff were to make our day special. We went here for coffee awhile back and loved the atmosphere and coffee so much that we joked that it'd be a great place to get married. Come to find out, they rent out some of the rooms for special occasions. They had several room options, some for larger groups and one for a smaller gathering. We ended up using the "Upper Room" for an intimate, private ceremony. The room was so beautiful we didn't even end up bringing any additional decorations. Their taco truck out back was perfect for our guests to grab food afterwards. Highly recommend the Awaken House for events! The coffee also happens to be incredible.
This place is fantastic! My wife and I are out-of-towners, with a daughter going to college nearby. We always stop by and love the place. We were here Friday night and watched Narnia outside under the stars with a couple hundred of our closest friends. The family that owns and runs it is, as Reba would say, “cute as a button.” Personally, I’m not a big coffee guy, but I do like the occasional latte and their’s did not disappoint! It was frothy and tasty and even a winner hours later when it was cold. I recently had a friend have me try a pumpkin spice latte with a shot of banana. I know, man card lost, but dude it was so good! I had them make me one and it was legit. I also LOVE their decorating, especially around Christmas, as it feels so welcoming and peaceful, like home or grandmas.
We knew the location from when it used to be "The Mocking Bird Cafe". Beautiful estate. Several rooms with specific purposes. Study, work, relaxation, meeting a friend, whatever is, you'll find a perfect corner to enjoy your drink. No many options to eat, but a spinach-feta croissant, and cookies. I saw a food truck outside with taco &etc. The service was just really drinks, the fall options were delicious.
Wow, this place is truly the coffee shop of coffee shops! It’s like a cozier, more intimate version of 1819, infused with a vibrant, welcoming spirit that feels almost divine. Unlike many coffee shops that prioritize endless seating over quality, this gem serves up genuinely exceptional coffee crafted by baristas who clearly know their stuff. The service is warm, efficient, and always delivered with a smile, making every visit a delight. This is hands-down my favorite spot in Spring Hill to settle in with my laptop for a productive work session. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between focused and relaxed. The backyard is a standout feature—a spacious, inviting yard with picnic tables and comfy chairs where you can soak up some fresh air. It’s an ideal hangout for “Mommy & Me” g
The coffee was “as ordered” but if you’re a “smooth” coffee kind of person, this might not be the spot for you. The coffee has that bright, almost citrus taste to it that is not my favorite. The location, however, is AWESOME. Lots of rooms/nooks to sit and chat with a friend or read or work. It’s away from the city so it feels peaceful. I did find the area where you order to be crowded and a little chaotic, but that is pretty typical of any coffee shop if you’re near the counter.
