The Agaves Restaurant

The tacos were not authentic, but were tasty. They should point out the prices first before placing orders so the customers can decide whether or not to order. Prices are high and kinda overcharge. Atmosphere is nice and looks like a cool hangout spot. Service is okay too. From out of state and would consider other locations in the future.

Overall the food at Los Agaves doesn’t tend to disappoint. We’ve tried some various things at this point (been 3 times now). Molcajete was great, Huaraches are great, quesadilla was great, tacos are great, chicken mole was not the best (too much spice). Red salsa is great, green is okay. Food portions are good size for the money! Drinks are fairly priced. Service is good, a bit slow at times but not bad. I’d highly recommend visiting as it’s by far the best Mexican food we’ve had in the area!

We came here after playing archery tag neaby and we we had a good time! The food and margaritas were delicious, and the portions we're massive for the price! My only complaint is that the service was very slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty. We ordered a myriad of the margaritas, all of which were very tasty. The mojitos- not as good, a bit too sweet for my taste. The ceviche was my favorite dish, and could have been an entree for how large it was. The tacos were okay, they came with just meat and not much else. The guac and complementary salsa were pretty good.

My fiancée said is the best vegetarian burrito in town and the most delicious spicy Margarita 🙃 Needs more outdoor seating, maybe some flat tv’s to watch a game or even some live music!! But overall food and service is good! Stop by

I ordered from GrubHub, plated at home. My expectation was higher based on the overwhelming positive reviews. Grateful I only ordered 1 birria taco as there was a large piece of fat in it that was a very unpleasant texture to experience. The seasoning was also light. La Mesa Market are better in my opinion and can be ordered from the app too. Pictured here are the adobadas, meat a little dry. Overall good but Mexican food is competitive in our community so it's hard not to want "the best".
