Awesome little joint - I’ll have to come back to take pictures because the bagels didn’t last long enough to take one on this trip. Jeremy was super friendly and very helpful - we weren’t able to sample the pizza bagels, but we got two everything and they were the best we’ve had in boston so far. Hands down. We’re Sort of snobs about bagel quality and have been frustrated with lack of options (tried pop up, better bagels, and just about everything in between etc) , Katz will be our go to moving forward. Good people great food amazing atmosphere give it a look it’s worth the visit

Stopped by this spot and grabbed a couple of bagels and a pizza bagel. The bagels were fresh and had that perfect chewiness I love. The pizza bagel was a nice twist—crispy and flavorful. Prices were reasonable, and the service was quick. However, it's more of a takeout place, so there's no seating if you're looking to dine in

For a long time, Katz has been heralded as one of the best bagels in the GBA, so I was excited to finally give it a try this past weekend. I rolled in around 7 a.m. (their new opening time) and found a limited selection of bagels and a 20-minute wait for the hot dogs. While waiting, I got to talk to some loyal locals who’ve been coming to this spot for decades. The general consensus was that the quality has been slipping the past few years. After a 30-minute wait, I walked out with a mix of bagels, their famous pizza bagels, hot dogs, and a blueberry cheesecake. The hot dog was seemingly unassuming, but the pillowy bun, juicy dog, and just the right zing of mustard made it a simple yet satisfying treat. Excellent bagels to-go from a tiny corner shop made with love. I tried the garlic bagel, the everything bagel with chive cream cheese and one pizza bagel. Even without toasting their fresh bagel was awesome. Toasted it tasted even better! The pizza bagel was served warm and pretty unique. Will definitely return.

Old school bagel shop. I drive down from Cape Ann because these bagels are soooo good and the half moons are amazing. Whether over the phone or in person, the staff is very pleasant, making it a pleasure to come here. I'm addicted to the pumpernickel.
