The After Char-Broil Grill & Ice Cream

This place is stuck in the 50s...which is a good thing. You order at the counter and they bring you your meal. The food is always good. Some portions are generous while others are so-so. They have ice cream for dessert. It's a pretty old school kind of place. The workers are generally kind and friendly. So, my family likes it. We go there a couple of times a year and have never had a bad meal or a bad experience.

Hot dog was very good, bun was toasted inside and out which really elevated it. Bison burger was good, but I got cheese and the bison was lost so it just tastes like a regular burger. Taste and texture overall was good. Shrimp were pretty standard. Same for fries, coleslaw, sauces, etc Corn peppers were pretty good, definitely different but we like deep fried cream corn. Malt vanilla milkshake was great. Ice cream is definitely the star of the show here.

Old school, small, good eats kind of place. Visiting Alpaca Farm in area and decided to return after not being in area for quite a few years. As good as we remembered. Food hot, delicious. Had burgers, fries, onion rings and chicken tenders. All fried to perfection. Kudos to the grill masters. Ice cream for dessert was equally as good, creamy and delicious. Wish we lived closer, would visit often if we did. Stop by and give it a try!!

Awesome old school cozy Grill. Lots of options to choose from and specials. Everything from full breakfast to bbq pulled pork and meatball parm sandwiches , burgers , hotdogs , soups , and more ! The kids meals include a drink and a free ice cream for dessert ! This is the best bang for your buck. I tried a Swiss burger than was atleast a 1/4 pound size and was loaded with Swiss cheese and mushrooms, a special chicken sandwich that had lettuce pickles and tomato and came with a side of some sort of Bang Bang sauce which was like a Smokey Chipotle mayo and was awesome , I ended up dipping all my Fries in it. Fries were all super crispy , kids had chicken tenders and fries , everything was a large portion and came with coleslaw pickles and French fries. Fast friendly service and lots of seat

This is a great place to stop for a quick bite or leisurely lunch. It's counter service and the ladies taking your order are very friendly and accommodating. Your order gets brought to your table once it's completed. I had grilled cheese with Taylor ham and the best, perfectly crispy crinkle fries. My lunch buddy had the meatball sandwich and it was a nice size. I look forward to going back when I am in the area again.
