Efsane Mediterranean Cuisine

Absolute gem just 15 minutes from home! We visited with a family of six and were so impressed by how well they catered to everyone. Our group was a mix of vegetarians, vegans, and meat-eaters, and every single person found something they loved. The standout for me was the okra casserole, it was awesome. The sauce was rich with the natural juices of the vegetables, yet the okra itself wasn't "mushy" or lost in the sauce; it perfectly held its shape until it literally melted in your mouth. The meat dishes were also a huge hit. My mom raved about the Chicken Adana Kebab, and my cousin, visiting from Washington, was highly impressed with the Iskender Kebab. Extraordinary food and a wonderful experience all around. We will definitely be back!

The food here was really great and tasted authentic. Everything felt fresh, and the portions were generous for the price. The interior decor is also beautiful, which made the experience even nicer. They have a lunch special menu that’s an especially good deal—you get a nice amount of food with soup, an appetizer, and an entrée for a very reasonable price. Overall, it felt like great value for the quality. I’d definitely love to come back in the future.

This was a random find. But what a find! Delicious food. Has both traditional middle eastern food items as you would find in other restaurants but at the same time some unique items. This is a Turkish restaurant to be specific. The quality and quantity of food was excellent. The staff were great. Has lots of indoor seating and clean washrooms.

This place is a gem! There were 5 of us and we ordered the sampler- there was so much food, everyone got to try a little bit of everything. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, the hummus was hands down the best I’ve ever had. To finish the meal we tried all of the desserts and they were all amazing! Cute and welcoming atmosphere with very attentive service and no issues accommodating any dietary needs. Try the Turkish soda, it’s different but complements the meal nicely! BYOB which we always appreciate!

Just wonderful!!! Tasty! Delicious! Authentic and very very cozy! Clearly family owned and it feels. Every dish prepared from the scratch! Everything was served in traditional dishes! We knew we wont be able to finish everything yet we ordered more simply because it looked and tasted so good. They have 2 rooms and it can be blocked off for a private party. We opted for their meatpie, eggplant, yogurt chicken kebob, lamb and finished off with 2 cups of their Turkish coffee with desert!! Definitely will be back! What a gem in a heart of Budd Lake
