I spent $56 on two plates, and one of them only came with three tiny pieces of beef....seriously? We wanted to try something new, but that turned out to be a big mistake. Everything, even the rice, was overwhelmingly spicy with no real flavor. Definitely not kid-friendly, and honestly not worth the money.

The food was so good,nice and clean environment. Took a friend to try Nigerian food and she enjoyed the beans and plantain.

I hope this business actually posts my review, because it seems the owner cherry-picks which ones to allow. A couple of years ago, this place was great, I mean her Stone Mountain location. But not anymore. Don’t waste your time or money here. The owner is extremely rude, and you’d better not voice any complaints or say you didn’t enjoy the food, or she’ll lash out. She no longer accepts feedback or listens to customers. Also, be sure to check your food carefully, you might find bits of string or even tiny pieces of metal from a cleaning sponge.

Don't buy food from this place!! It is dangerous and has absolutely terrible customer service. Please read about my experience and avoid this restaurant at all costs!! I've been a consistent customer of The African Grill Restaurant, making large catering food orders for over a year with no problems, until a very recent incident which is now going to lead to litigation. Sometime in November, I ordered a half tray of Beans, half tray of Beef Stew, and half tray Jollof Rice costing over $200. This was a regular order for me. I had some of the beans that night and put the rest in the freezer. I found the beans very nice, and even gave feedback to the restaurant when i went back to order more food at a later date. This is the worst Afan soup I've ever had. Scent leaf in the soup? I had to eat the assorted meat inside not to waste the entire meal. You must not offer all soups, choose what leaf is available please. It was TASTELESS & BITTER!!!
