I rate and try Pad Thai across the entire Pacific Northwest, and I can say that this is a really yummy Pad Thai for the area and a really nice atmosphere. Unlike typical Pad Thai you will find around here, this has a much thicker (and more absorbing) sauce. The noodles are all coated in this kind of thicker sauce (not too thick, but simply thicker than standard), which is by all means not a bad thing and I actually quite enjoyed it. Texture is great and so is looks, but most importantly the taste ispretty solid, but more savory than spicy (or maybe considered sweet & savory). I would say this is like a high rating for constinency/texture, like an 8, but the flavor is like a 7.5. although it is good, I personally find this savory flavor to be a little too overpowering. Some of the best pad thai I’ve had in Portland! The bbq pork fried rice is nothing to sniff at either. And the waitress was so friendly and welcoming to our young kids. Combined with honest and decent prices - will definitely be back!

They have a Handmade Wonton soup, my youngest daughter loves it so much. I ordered a chicken pad Thai and salad rolls. Super yummy and delicious. Crews are kind and friendly.

I’ve loved this place for years and have yet to be disappointed. I recently tried the golden squid and I honestly think it’s the best squid I’ve ever had. It wasn’t a fluke the first time I got it either because I’ve gotten it a few times and it’s always amazing! I’ve tried many items from Thai Pod, but lately I’ve been ordering #54, Pad Woon Sen, bean curd noodles. Can’t get enough of them. My boyfriend got the Pad Thai and enjoyed it. (Pictures provided) The staff always greet you with a smile, even when overloaded with orders and they are always super friendly. I highly recommend if you’re looking for some amazing Thai food.
