THAI ORCHID RESTAURANTS

Our second time here and as Thai food lovers this restaurant fulfills that craving we get for authentic quality Thai. The owners are the nicest couple and they take pride in their food and service. The waitress is very helpful with suggestions and is very attentive. The mango and sticky rice was really good for a refreshing desert which we had the first time we went. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Don't be confused as the cafe sign is still up from the previous restaurant that was here before. One note on heat. If you say medium or spicy they go off their level spicy, not the American palette. If you can't take heat make sure to be clear on your comfort.

I live about 45 minutes from Thai Orchid, and I’m always happy to make the drive to Scottsville for their incredible Thai food and Pho. The owners make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. They’re warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share dishes with their customers. Every plate is full of rich, authentic flavors—the kind you only get when a chef truly cooks with love. And if you’re a spice lover, trust me, they know how to bring the heat (but only if you want it). Their desserts take me straight back to childhood, especially the sticky rice that reminds me of my grandmother’s. And the Thai tea? Absolutely delicious on its own. If you enjoy bold, flavorful dishes served in a kind and inviting atmosphere, this is the spot. And if you’re a soup fan who hasn’t tried Pho yet

A charming restaurant with a cozy atmosphere where pleasant background music and delicious food combined to create a remarkable dining experience. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food was served remarkably fast and was absolutely delicious. The orange chicken was the best I have ever had with a super crunchy exterior. The steamed dumplings we had for appetizers were standouts. As well as the tom yum soup.

Delicious! We tried the glass noodles, basil fried rice, and egg rolls. Friendly service, and loved the atmosphere also! There are so many items on the menu that we want to try! Looking forward to trying them all!

Thai Orchid has quickly become our favorite local restaurant! Many delicious entrees to choose from, friendly service, and it’s in a charming, well preserved historic building, right on the square!
