Tha Dawg House

Small diner, great breakfast. I haven't tried anything but breakfast. 2 eggs, tenderloin, biscuit and gravy. It was all delicious. The place was clean and the waitress was friendly and helpful.

We stopped at The Dawg House on our way to Staunton. We were very surprised at how inexpensive the prices were! I ordered the hot dog with chips and my best friend ordered the hamburger with chips. We also asked for the ranch and sweet chili sauce on the side. (Please do the same!) The food came out SO FAST! The hot dog was so perfect and full of flavor. The house made chips were fried to perfection. And the sauces?? So good and a nice accompaniment to the chips. We will stop here again!

Grabbed lunch here. 2 hot dogs with freshly made potato chips. Also tried the sweet & hot sauce to dip the chips in, ended up putting it on the hot dogs (chili, slaw, mustard & onions) too. Nice quick meal. Great sweet tea. Food is like that at a fast food place but they take the order at the table and they come back and check, refill drinks, ask if everything is okay, etc. when’s the last time McDonald’s did that?

Today I came in and sat down, and the waitress came out to take care of the only other person there looked straight at me and then went on to stand talking to the person in the kitchen and ignoring me for the next eight minutes without even asking if I wanted to drink or acknowledging that I was there. This is usually a place I enjoy coming to eat, but today, I’ll go and explore somewhere else.

The two workers were great. I got a double burger that was just great. I couldn't have made it better myself. Also the side winders are so good. It was really a great meal. In the morning for breakfast I always liked to get a tenderloin biscuit. This place just all around rocks.
