Destiny was great portions are big food is hot!! Shrimp perfect !Something for everyone amazing place to take the family cheese pulls 10/10

Stopped on a whim while passing through and I am glad we did. Pros: Great food, service and atmosphere. Cons: A little pricey at about $20 per person for a burger/fries/drink. Overall i recommend this place and would visit again.

We wanted down home country cooking and this place did not disappoint. It's so good we went back the next night. All food entrees were excellent, reasonably priced, and the service was great. The food had large portions, contained a diverse selection, and homemade sauces. We especially loved the ribeye beef tips over rice daily special. On Friday night they had karaoke. It has a Texas decor and country feel, with large wooden tables and chairs. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious. Salmon was a little over spiced. But cooked perfectly. Grilled shrimp flavor was awesome. Redfish plate could have been bigger for the price, but was absolutely cooked to perfection. Wanted more of that definitely. Mashed potatoes and gravy and steamed veggies were a great side. Our waitress was fantastic. She's only been working there a week but she is the best!! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.

Cannot say this often but we had so much fun at this restaurant. The people were friendly and truly cared about your dining experience. Homestyle food at a reasonable price and large portion size. Don’t know if our travels will bring us back here again but highly recommend that you find this wonderful downtown Port Lavaca restaurant.
