Tent City

Five Stars and every one of them for the view! Listen, I don’t know what’s in the Yuma water, but apparently it produces 6’2” desert Adonises with jawlines sharp enough to cut through cactus! Who knew a tent city could double as a runway for desert heartthrobs! The facilities are minimalistic chic, but who cares when every time you step outside your tent you’re greeted by a lineup of sunkissed, uniformed tanned guys straight out of a country music video. Highly recommend- bring sunscreen, sunglasses and maybe a fan (for yourself, not for the tent). Would camp again (purely for research purposes)!🔥🌵🤭

Overall experience is pretty good. Showers have no counter space and the floors are wet 24/7 makes things tricky to keep your clothes dry. If you’re night crew the tents get really hot when you’re sleeping and really cold at night. Really the biggest flaw in this project is just the fact that being on a marine corps base and living in tents next to base housing haha. If these living conditions were on a boat or land deployment these conditions are amazing.

The refrigerators keep the beer cold. And Shazam! My laundry gets cleaned and folded just like mom does it back home. Fried camel spider tastes like chicken. Marine Corps Exchange is here with smokes, drinks, snacks and hot food!

For what it is, it's not bad at all—I expected a lot worse. We got warm showers, decent bathrooms, AC works, 24/7 fast laundry service. Only thing is all the sand and insects, nothing they can really do about that. Staff are really nice.

I put a 30rack in the fridge, i come back and said 30 rack is gone, nice showers though people need to learn to lock the door though
