TenGu Ramen

The cook argued with the waitress when we asked to cook the pot stickers a bit more as they were under cooked. They wouldn't do it for some egotistical reason. One of us was served the wrong dish. The curry was awful and the rice cheap. Even the ramen was questionable. No pix of food just a hard pass.

Found this place after wandering in the desert and goodness was it a proper beacon to look forward to after several hours of driving. I would post photos but we all finished our ramen too fast. The Chashu Ramen and black garlic oil are a must. We ordered to-go from the road fully intending to grab it and go, but as soon as we walked in, they offered us a place to sit and eat in with about half an hour til closing. Not that it impacts the food, but the holiday decor was adorable. Thanks folks!

I work and study around this area, so my friend and I often visit this restaurant. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is usually comfortable, and the main reason we come back is the affordable lunch specials. If you ever need a meal on a tight budget — at least $20; I usually pay $15 and some change — I highly recommend stopping by during their lunch hours. However, I did want to mention an odd experience we had a few months ago. During one of our school breaks, my friend and I came in and ordered ramen. My friend has some food restrictions, so she requested a few modifications, including having the noodles served on the side. The 12.99 lunch special (13.99 with the drink) tonkatsu ramen was just okay. It came with green onions, pickled ginger, corn, and the chashu. Since those were the only toppings, the picked ginger overpowered the rest of the flavors and everything started turning pink as we ate. The noodles were a bit tough, like they weren't quite cooked through. No ramen egg or bamboo shoots you see in the photo and description in the lunch special. Just overall an underwhelming bowl of tonkatsu.

Food is the best and great part of each day, so finding great food place like this one is important. The customer service is amazing, Food is served quick, Food taste great. There is only one lady welcoming guests, Taking orders, cleaning tables and serving the food, But she does it really good. Her multitasking skills are well refined such that she keeps everyone served and replenished.
