Tehuana Oaxacan Cuisine

We lived in Mexico for 6 years and developed a special appreciation for for the state of Oaxaca, so we were thrilled to stumble upon this spot. So much Mexican food in the States is regionalized to the north, but this truck is the real deal, serving specialties like Tlayudas and Mole Negro that are hard to find elsewhere. We tried both the Chicken and Vegetarian Mole Negro, and it was spectacular. The mole had incredible depth with layers and layers of complex, rich flavor—exactly what you hope for in a traditional Oaxacan kitchen. Even the basics are elevated here; we ordered the chips and salsa, and they fried the chips fresh to order. They were warm, perfectly crispy, and delicious. Delicious mole enchiladas that’s a big enough portion to split. This is the best tasting food truck within Arborlook. Love the vibes of picnic tables and high tops with a bottle shop and taproom to grab a drink under the same tent.

Referred by a local friend, who raves about the food. He's absolutely right, this place is worth finding. Friendly crew, and excellent food. Many of our group had to take the rest with them, could not finish the generous portions.
