Teaneck Road Hot Bagels

As a prediabetic, if I'm having carbs first thing in the morning, it better be worth it. And the bagels here are absolutely worth it. This spot has all the energy, busyness, and no-frills attitude of a true New York bagel spot...with the benefit of a large, free parking lot. And thank goodness for that, because there was already a messy line in the foyer area on a Sunday morning. If that worries you, know that the guys behind the counter know how to work a crowd. Find a spot to stand and wait to catch the eye of one of these guys shouting, "Next! Who's next?!" It's a little hectic, but I feel it made me all the more excited to get to my car and chow down. Fantastic experience here! We came around 15 minutes before closing and were able to get a delicious salmon bagel. The guy even threw in a few extra for free! The whole sandwich was truly outstanding. These are regular sized bagels (compared to some places that really have giant bagels). I will say it was a bit pricey so I think next time I’ll just grab the bagel and get the salmon/cream cheese/toppings at the grocery store so I have extra.

Hero bell for Teaneck Road Hot Bagels! I was traveling back to Pittsburgh and wanted to bring home good bagels, grabbed some from a place it Brooklyn that were so ghastly that I couldn’t even eat one bite. I figured I’d try my luck in NJ and this place came up. When I arrived the line was out the door and I loved the brisk energy inside: at least four people working the counter getting folks their orders efficiently and professionally. Prices were excellent. I ordered a dozen and ate three on the way home, they were so good. I toasted one for my daughter last night and she loved it. This will be a regular stop for me now when leaving New York.

Great place to get bagels in the teaneck area. Their lox bagel and everything bagel was great, they refilled their bagels, hot and ready. Great service, decent price, good portion sizes. I love how crispy and soft the bagels were. They definitely give you a lot of spread, which is nice. I’d highly recommend this place thing I would come back.

I ordered my bagel over the phone and when I got there I saw it waiting on the counter with my name on it. I waited until a few people that were waiting in line ordered until I was able to make eye contact with the woman working there. That’s when I told her my name and she got it right to me, everything was great and business as usual. A male employee then snapped at me, saying next time I have to wait in the back of the line even for a quick pickup. He was very rude and it’s making me think twice about the quality of their business.
