Taziki's Mediterranean Café- Knox Square

I visited after receiving a coupon at a Halloween event for a free chicken gyro, chips, and a side. The restaurant itself is very clean, bright, and welcoming. Plenty of parking and the inside looks new and well cared for. The restroom was also very clean, though the toilet paper wasn’t on the roller. When I walked in, there was no greeting, but the woman at the register was helpful when explaining the different side options. My food came out in about 5–10 minutes, so the service was quick. Unfortunately, the food itself was a major disappointment. When I bit into the gyro, the chicken was rubbery and undercooked. I tried a second bite thinking it might’ve been just one piece, but several pieces had the same texture. When I opened the gyro, almost half the chicken looked undercooked, and

Love the new location! Had the Mediterranean salad with Turkish Meatballs + their delicious tzatziki dip with soft pita. Service was great and fast.

Good Greek restaurant. Sort of Deli style you order and pay at the counter, then you sit down and they bring it to you. Food is good and is fresh. I had the "Street Gyros". It was very good, lots of meat and other fillings. I will come back.

Visit 4: Ended up here again because this was restaurant choice by the other party with me. After waiting 32 minutes for our food, the salad comes out wrong and missing pita. We ordered one Caesar and one Mediterranean but received two Caesar’s. We both discover our salads were soggy with wilted lettuce but at this point we’re just over it. The soup was just broth and chicken, no rice. It was over seasoned like it was the last of what’s left. We eventually received pita but it was burnt and very dark leaving a bitter taste. Lastly, the shift leader had a ton of dandruff all over his shirt and was digging down in his shirt behind the line and the young cashier was picking in his hair. Visit 3: This time we decided to eat inside hoping for a better experience than our previous to go orders.

The best prepared asparagus and salmon. Very welcoming environment! The manager was very engaging, professional, and friendly. 10/10👌🏽
