Taylor Queen Ice Cream Shop

I absolutely love this store, which I usually refer to as the "Red Barn" frozen custard shop. Frozen custard is just plain awesome! They have a multitude of flavors of both frozen custard and ice cream 🍨🍦 as well. Sundaes, banana splits, shakes, and cones are served during warm weather months through the two front order windows and also from the drive through for those who do not want to get out of the car. A very ample sized frozen custard cost just over $4.00 which was a very pleasant surprise during these costly times. The worker's are usually local High School kids who are very grateful for anyone who wants to help them out by donating to their tip jar. There are picnic tables in front and napkins are provided. Water is available by request. Ample parking is available and masks

They made my wife an amazing custom flurry. They got the best banana split I've had in Michigan, and my son had a great time! Super friendly staff and id highly suggest coming here first if you're looking for a great little ice cream spot

I’ve been going to Taylor Queen ice cream shop for years since I’ve moved to Taylor. But then even after I move to Taylor down river area. I still continue to drive 25 to 30 minutes. Just to go get Taylor ice cream. I love them and they’re very welcoming. Plus the owners always recognize me, and he’s always the sweetest to me and my family.

Taylor Queen is a staple of Taylor, MI. This ice cream shop has delicious sundae’s, variety of flavored soft serve and hard scoop, blizzards, slushes and even some unique popsicles that are normally from an ice cream truck. Very accommodating with special requests, add ons, take offs, you dream it they make it. Taylor Queen stays open longer in the season than other ice cream shops and later at night. The line moves quickly despite how it looks. The strawberry shortcake Sunday is the best!
