Tavern on the Lake

Very nice, clean and a great atmosphere. Service was awesome! Met some long time Friends up there and caught up on past times. I ordered the Loaded Mashed Potatoes and they were delicious! Lots of Seafood options on the menu also. I would definitely go back in the near future. Try em out.

Honesty, I wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but we had a great lunch today. It was a relaxed and fun environment, the food was tasty, and the service was attentive. We will be back!

I ordered a glass of wine and it had lipstick ALL over it. There is no way the bartender did not see that and when I asked for a new glass, that one was dirty as well. The bartender looked like he was holding onto life with his fingernails. He saw me cleaning the second glass off and didn't care. Disgusting. We had the chicken wings and they had way too much salt and pepper on them. We had to play music because it was awkwardly quiet. Most likely will not return.

We came here for dinner in February so it wasn’t pretty outside but boy I can’t wait to come in the summer! The restaurant is situation right in a hill overlooking a lake-I bet it’s beautiful! Our server was very attentive and friendly and our food was great! Huge portions and served hot! Can’t wait to return!

Normally I’m fine with overpaying for mid food because this place is so close to my house and they have a couple of exceptional servers (Melissa has been our waitress on quite a few occasions & has always been excellent, this review is not indicative of the staff as a whole) I took my daughter here today and asked for a booth since she’s a toddler and behaves best in one and she was a little hangry, we were told we could not sit at a booth, we asked if we could sit at the high tops overlooking the street as we’ve done several times in the past and were told that no we could not sit there. We were seated in the back where nobody at all was and on the way passed an open booth. There was nobody else waiting, I’m honestly extremely disappointed in the attitude presented by the seater.
