Tavern Inn The Woods Restaurant

The staff who took the order was friendly and helpful. My husband ordered a medium well burger that was charred/burnt and it was not edible. Cajun nachos and birria fries also pictured, overall disappointed. We were hoping to find a good new spot

We attended a very small wedding reception at Tavern Inn the Woods last weekend and it was very nice. The food was good, the private room was beautiful, the servers were professional, and the bar was fully stocked with a pleasant and competent bartender... and she made me a tasty 'adult' coffee, which I needed in the cold weather! 😉

Been going here since we’ve moved to michaywe in 2019. It’s always been like rolling dice to see if the food is good or complete garbage. Just ordered take out. Taco salad with chili on the side, Cajun chicken Alfredo, and kids chicken tenders. Of course, can’t do chili on the side. That’s too hard to comprehend. Then they gave us coleslaw and tartar sauce apparently for the kids chicken tenders? And the chicken Alfredo pasta (which mind you it was $26) was the most bland basic homemade stuff you could ever make. I know they have a new chef like every three months because it’s so hard to get someone to make quality food apparently. I have no idea how this place stays open. Out of all the times we’ve eaten there, maybe 10% of the time it was decent. The rest it’s been horrendous. Place need

Excellent service and beautiful atmosphere and the chef knows how to cook flavorful food with artistic presentation at a decent price level. Highly recommend.

Have eaten at this restaurant many times after a round of golf and the food has always been good. Typically we order the spinach dip appetizer and then a pizza. The pizza has always been very good. Today the pizza was horrible. It had no taste and the crust was hard as a rock. It was as if it came out of a box from the frozen section at a grocery store. We mentioned it to our server and another person working there both said they were sorry. There are plenty of restaurants in the area to chose from as we will never eat at this restaurant again.
