Jake & Jill’s BBQ

I travel for work and have eaten BBQ from GA to KC and TX to CO. There are all types and different techniques that can nail it. The plastic is fantastic. It's a great find this far north. I've been twice now. I've had the 1/2 slab of ribs, and they're definitely top-notch. The bark was spot on. The tenderness was so right, my plastic knife cut them like a steel knife yet they stayed on the bone like in the picture. The bite was perfect, clean and came right off the bone. Just have to admire the effort this guy puts into his smoked meats. The brisket was just as good as the ribs. Bark was a smoky textured crust surrounding tender beef. I had the sausage as well and wish I had more. Great find!! If you like BBQ, this is a must!

Went there for the first time, should have gone a long ago! We tried 3 main items to start. Their walking taco looked deceiving initially, one bite and I immediately changed my mind. The chicken bacon ranch quesadilla hit the way you would hope. Lastly the brisket quesadilla made by chefs choice was very satisfying and filling. Will definitely be coming back to try different items!

Very friendly lady who waited on us wonderful. We will be back here again soon! BBQ is great. Just what you are looking for in BBQ. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious 😋. My wife had the BBQ chicken sandwich. I tasted it it was very juicy and i am not from sitting in water on a steam table ether. This comes from knowing how to BBQ chicken as well as the pork that i had. Next time will be brisket for me. Check back soon to find out if you would like.

OMG! The BBQ at Jake and Jill's is spectacular! They really put their heart into the food here. It's a friendly and inviting quick service diner with limited indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating, We had pulled pork and the loaded baked potato with brisket. There are lots of combos, sides and sandwiches too! This BBQ joint is worth a recurring visit.

I’ve been coming to Gaylord every summer since birth. We make an effort to only dine in local spots and we definitely have some favorites, but Jake and Jill’s is hands down our new #1! I’ve never had brisket so moist and tender. It was amazing! My husband got the pulled pork- equally amazing and my son, husband and I all got a different type of sausage. Each one had its own delicious flare. Add in their Mac & Cheese and the whole meal exceeded all expectations. What really sealed the deal were Jake and Jill. They were so friendly and welcoming, even offering up samples of the brisket before ordering. I love supporting small businesses and we will absolutely be back every summer!
