We visited this restaurant for lunch. Food was good. The drink ( sour monkey) was good. We ordered the burger with medium rare beef but It came out well done beef, they changed for us. It turned out delicious. Recommend chicken downtown sandwich They have a historic home downstairs that you can take a little tour. Very lovely
History. building is a treasure. Should have planned an extra hour to walk through exhibits and history, but only came for dinner. Appetizer was beet crepeni - fabulous! Didn't expect the rich, sweet taste and soft crust but very glad I ordered it. Drovers sandwich was excellent and side salad was so diverse it could have been a good meal. No iceberg lettuce here, just the best greens ever. Friends had pot pie and loved it, too. Thinking there are no poor choices on this menu. Service was very well done: prompt, polite, personable, professional.
This historic site is rich in American heritage and culture. The building is very well preserved and you are able to walk around and look at their different exhibits before or after you eat. The food was very comforting and delicious! We split a chicken pot pie with the puff pastry crust, and the beef puff appetizers. All the food was incredible, and our server was great. She was very attentive, kind, and fulfilled all of our needs as guests. I would highly recommend this historic site for a good meal along with some good American history.
Had a nice outing for lunch during Restaurant Week. Service was quick, server was nice. Dining room is a bit loud (echoes) even with a dozen or so diners.
We went to the sign in for a bachelorette the service was nothing short of amazing. Our server TJ ( I think that’s her name) was so kind and willing to give us advice on which place we should grab drinks after. She made our stay so memorable.
