Tavern 101

Went for some beers with a friend whom I was visiting in Bay City. Nice place and they have a good selection of beers on tap. The young, friendly waiter also brought some samples of the ciders for us to try before committing to one. They also have complimentary popcorn which is crazy delicious! Nice, local joint. Worth a stop if you are in town.

Wow, this was pretty awesome tonight. Came in on a Tuesday and they had 1/2 off flights, the choices of beer were outstanding allowing me to sample several new brews. Despite recommendations for burgers and flatbreads, the Hibachi Bowl caught my eye. It came out quickly and was absolutely fantastic, one of the best dishes I’ve had traveling around lately. On top of that, place was clean and the people friendly. I don’t get up to Bay City often, but I will be back here for sure!

Had a great experience at Tavern 101 with their private room! They let us in very early to decorate and even provided the ladder! Great service was provided the whole night! Would 100%recommend!

Awesome place to have drinks and a quick bite or dinner. We had the steak bites appetizer and it was delicious! Bangkok bowl for dinner.

The three of us ordered 2 smash burgers and and a chicken Alfredo. 1 pop and 1 beer. We ordered an onion ring app. Total came to $82 They offer popcorn as a free app, but we didn't get ours until we were finished with our meal. Our waitress kept telling us she was going to get us a basket while every other table was getting one, but it didn't come until we were full. We were seated very quickly, but didn't see our waitress for a while. The food took a really long time to get to us. It was hot and the French fries were really good. The burger was meh. Pretty dry. They offer a mug club, but why buy when your sitting there for such a long time not getting served. We probably won't be returning.
