Tasty House Chinese Restaurant

I LOVE GOING HERE!! It’s my favorite place to eat. I can’t believe I haven’t left a review until now, but this place is an absolute 10000000/10. Food is amazing and comes out quick too, the customer service is fantastic, and the over all vibe of the restaurant is authentic and cozy. I love their spicy chicken curry, I get it every time. I also love getting their crab Rangoon, my kids are crazy over it too. Head up- obviously this is located in IOWA so crab is incredibly difficult to safely come by, but I love the appetizer, I’m allergic to crab anyways so it’s perfect for me ❤️

Food seemed like it was prepared hours earlier giving it a bad texture. Flavor is still better then other places around for Chinese. Ordered beef but got chicken didn't notice till home which is the item that brings us to the place.

The food here is definitely tasty! Hot and fresh too! The helpings are generous and if you leave here hungry, it's your own fault. We ordered the Sweet'n Sour Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Crab Ragoons. All excellent! The restaurant is well decorated and clean. The staff is great! Friendly and attentive. Definitely adding this to one of our favorite restaurants.

Had a craving for crab. Went in. Asked about the crab rangoons. Ordered crab rangoons. Received crab rangoons with NO CRAB. I asked them why is there no crab meat in these. I was told they use crab a crab flavor . I said why do u have them in your menu as crab meat rangoon when they are nothing more than a cream cheese rangoon . Asked her to take them back they were not what I ordered. She left them on the table told me I can take them with me and how much I owe her. I paid. Threw them in garbage at front counter. And will NEVER EVER GO BACK. BE WARE THIS PLACE IS TRASH

Nice small-town restaurant. Food was very good. Comfortable, clean, and attentive service. Received our lunch quickly, and everything was as expected. Will definitely return when visiting Grundy Center.
