Bummed. This was my CB favorite, but today I got a pumpkin candy shake filled with shredded styrofoam. There were two cups stacked together and before I got half way into it I noticed a larger than a quarter piece of styrofoam. I lifted the cup and the entire bottom of it was cut out leaving shredded foam mixed into my shake. 🙃 I assume they knew the cup was broken considering there was a second cup under the first. The Fried chicken sandwich was a grilled chicken. Pulled pork sandwich was grey and there was hardly any BBQ sauce. I’ve never had an issue here before, this is super disappointing.

We were looking for some good ice cream before we left town. This place is good. The ice cream was creamy and smooth. The prices are fair. Customer service was satisfactory. We would visit again. Now on a side note, we are a mixed family. We didn’t experience any problems but the area doesn’t look accepting. This is how we feel but nothing happened on our visit to insinuate this. We ordered the frozen banana, peanut bar, and the banana split. All 3 worth it.

Best place for ice cream in Council Bluffs area - also, an overlooked place for hamburgers and great sides. Ample portions and good prices that keep one coming back. Service is always top notch as well. Try it - you'll come back.

This is a great place to treat your travel party at the foothills of the Loess Hills. The fairly priced menu consists of roadside favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs, shakes, malts and hushpuppies, to bbq sandwiches with all the sides (crinkle cut fries, cole slaw and potato salad) and ice cream (soft serve, chocolate and vanilla) Loose meat sandwiches are available on Mondays only. This location also features catering and sells meat with sides by the pound. We chose the tenderloin sandwich, bbq pulled pork sandwich and child's cheeseburger with a side of hushpuppies and potato salad. Shakes are fantastic, and there is such a large selection of flavors. The pulled chicken bbq sandwich was super juicy and came really fast. Great place off the trail!
