First time there. Little hole in the wall with incredible food. The service was friendly and good! The food was ssoo yummy. Warm, fresh chips with wonderful salsa and guacamole! This will be a regular stop! Come check them out and support small businesses!

the guy cashier or server was very friendly and nice and he make sure that I parked in right parking lot too. The place is really clean and nice. Love the ambiance of their restaurant. I was searching for mexican restaurant in council bluffs I saw this one just near at my work. Overall the foods are really good and taste really authentic. I will give them more than 5 stars!

Had a fantastic dinner experience at La Carreta Rosa in Council Bluffs the other night! My friend and I were so impressed by how incredibly fast and friendly the service was. The food was simply delicious – we thoroughly enjoyed the steak fajitas, the refreshing coctel de camaron (shrimp cocktail), and the flavorful goat soup. A definite highlight for me was the excellent chips and salsa provided before the meal, especially the generous variety of salsas available. If you're in Council Bluffs looking for authentic, tasty Mexican food with great service, La Carreta Rosa is a must-try!

This restaurant is in a historic building. The best Mexican food I've had in years. Very authentic. However, if you like, you can order it more on the American side. I wouldn't suggest it though. Everything from the chips and salsa that they give you as complimentary before your meal, to the entire meal was utterly delicious. The gentleman, Felix, was pleasant, helpful and very attentive. Good food, good service; what more could you ask for? I'm definitely going to make this a regular spot. They are open everyday except Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:05 p.m. They've been in business there for over 20 years. The place is humble and homey. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
