Order the salmon platter, came with two sides, so went with yams and mac & cheese. Trust me when I say, there was nothing left on that platter, when I finished eating. The salmon was moist and the seasoning (honey garlic glazed) was a pleasant surprise, mac & cheese was cheesy and delicious, yams were soft and not overly sweet, just right! Definitely worth a few more visit, to try other delights on the menu.

I usually always enjoy the food but it didn’t taste right today. Chicken was lacking flavor, same with the candy yams. Yams weren’t sweet, lacked cinnamon as you can see in the picture. Mac was extra runny today. I will definitely give this place another try. It’s just an off day.

Soul food. Yes! I had the catfish sandwich-perfectly spiced, breaded and super tender. But nothing on that piece of bread, no lettuce, no sauce. I would recommend a side of fries and possibly look into the platter. They have packaged tartar sauce you can get though. The churros are frozen and just heated up and dressed on site, so I didn't try them. It is a type of fast food establishment. The place is within the brewing company - enter, make a left once inside the salon and you'll see it. Ring the bell.

I decided to try because I’ve delivered door dash orders and it smelled so good and I have heard great things. We came in and no one was upfront and we really weren’t in a rush but someone came out right away and was very kind and friendly and my husband and myself value that a lot being we both work/have worked good service. We ordered the soul roll and a Philly cheesesteak with onions and jalapeños and fries to share. I wish we had ordered 2 containers of fries because they were SO GOOD! The Philly cheesesteak was perfect amount of seasoning with spice from jalepeno not too over powering. The soul roll was a burrito size egg roll filled with collard greens, yams, Mac n cheese, and fried chicken….perfect size and balance of flavor. They ate and left no crumbs, so I did too! Two enormous and perfectly fried whiting filets, greens, and candy yams that were better than Thanksgiving. My less adventurous husband was happy with his chicken cheesesteak, too. Loved that they shared space and co-promoted with a local brewery. Win win!
